jpeg displaying

I still can't get jpeg's to show alongside the tiff & raw files in LR4....unless I import them from my elements organiser catalogue but that messes up all the saved presets for the existing tiffs. it's such a pain because I have to delve into each folder within Lightroom to find the jpeg.
Any ideas people or can it not be done due to two different catalogues/softwares. thanks.

Bump. anybody have a solution and do your jpegs display in LR4 automatically alongside your raws? mine just display in elements organiser but still stay in the Lightroom folders.
