Do the Free Joomla templates usually come with so many [crowded] menus? Does the excess menu items need to be unpublished or deleted via control panel?![]()
It's doing my head in to be honest. Tried joomla in the past but prefer e107, very easy to set up, customise and reskin with your own images, logos and colours.
Oops forgot to add, also ties in with coppermine and its also open source

Excuse me if I am stating the obvious, but have you checked the file attributes are set to allow you to write to the file.

ohhh I managed to do that after a while going through the CSS...
Can't remember how thought.. migh trawl through it all later for you and find out.

The first site is good, the second site is awful. I've yet to see a truly exceptional Joomla website.
My pleasure lol. But you're correct, it's a CMS. But even still, you have to design a front end right? And that runs off Joomla.
Mine was created with Joomla and a lot of template modification (in fact, it has been through that many versions since I started it...it is 99% my own coding!) What do you think to it?? I know it's not exceptional...but it serves it's purpose!!
A lot of the interactive type stuff is new and not fiddled with yet so other than its functionality....please don't crit the form!![]()
