Jonathan Ross & Russell Brand- Should they be sacked?

Ross will have a nice break with his family over Christmas, do the occasional bit of work for other channels, host the odd event. He's hardly going to feel the loss of £1m when he earns £6m a year anyway + and other commercial stuff he does.

Ummm...no. Ross is under exclusive contract to the BBC, so no working elsewhere

Another positive thing that has come of this is that people are now lodging complaints about Frankie Boyle too :woot:

I'm beginning to feel a little sorry for Woss. That tool Brand makes Woss look like a fine, decent, upstanding sort.

I'd like to know the thought processes involved by senior BBC execs when they hired the prat.

I thought 'ITV' was a BBC channel at one point? Got a feeling i'm wrong on that though.

16k a day it works out at, for JR's salary.

12 week suspension means he'll have only earnt £5million this year, however will he manage*.

promote em both to boss of the bbc.
that bloomin daft model/scantilly cald bint, has got more coverage from this than she ever would on her own.
public appologies to "manuel" should be enough.
brand is moderately annoying sometimes.
and wossy beleives his own hype.
but theyre still very entertaining.

They're only trying to do what Howard Stern was doing in the 80's. And there are plenty more copycats lined up to take their place ... Chris Moyles has had a few close shaves.

I think this was out of all proportion and mainly a witch hunt from the BBC hating press. The only complaints that should have been recognised are those that came in immediately after the show, all two (IIRC) of them. The other 30k or so should have been binned as these are just people reacting to what they have read in the papers or on some other media. It took nearly a full week for this to surface, and I bet most people were just in it to complain about the high salary that JR is on, a salary that he must be worth otherwise he wouldn't be getting that amount.

I like his shows, not a fan of Russell Brand but I do think this was an over reaction by some gullible newspaper readers.
