What do you think, after the way they behaved towards Andrew Sachs do you think their subsequent "apology" was enough, or should they be sacked or punished in some other way by the BBC?
Me too I find Russel Brand nauseating, I do not understand how they find him entertaining although millions must do or he would not be one of the highest paid.
As for Jonathan Ross, he is one of those entertainers that have managed to extract laughter from any rubbish that comes out of his mouth.
I appreciate others love them and it is all down to the individuals personal taste and sense of humour, but, I can not stand either of them and they are not for my sense of humour and values.
I cannot stand Russell Brand (Ooh a bit of poetry there, and much funnier than Brand!) I first saw him on the Secret Policeman's ball a couple of years ago where he made jokes about the Soham murders to the sound of crickets chirping and he's got worse ever since. As for Ross, well he's been around for a while now and people have got used to him, but I'd sack 'em both because, aside from this "incident", I don't think either of them have got any real talent.
A nice wee donation to a charity of Mr Sachs' choice - say half a million quid each, they can afford it and it would make them think before doing anything like that again.
brand and ross are overpaid talentless individuals who use their positions to get away with murder, i have no time for either of them if i was sachs id sue and if i was the bbc id sack them
Well the scruffy one did not seem very sorry on the news (yes I have finally turned the tv on), just made a joke of the appology
If it was any other job he would be out straight away, with the BBC he will probably get a bonus
If I had made a comment like that to or about a patient I would have been struck off the professional register! They are both over paid and on a great ego trip and should be taken of the air! Save the license payers a fortune! How would they like to have been accused of sexual assault of one of their children's friends?
Agree with most here, I never could understand why the BBC employed Brand. I don't think either of them have any social conscience at all, they do and say things that are offensive and Ross in particular gets away with it time after time because he's an audience puller.
The BBC should apologize for employing Russell Brand in the first place. I for one will not listen to anything he is on. I have radio two on whenever I'm on the PC but always play a tape if Brand is on, he is just not funny at all.
Tapes!! your gonna tell me that before computers, photographs were taken with chemicals on a plasticcy "film" type substance and then using coloured liquids transfered onto compressed vegetable matter. That would be tooo complicated surely......
Does anyone else think this has got way too out of hand? It will get to the point nobody will say anything funny any more, for fear of offending someone else...
Go look for Frankie Boyle clips on YouTube - that's how humour should be

I agree, it is already out of hand - the fact that the BBC thought that it was a) okay for two of it's "stars" to make such a call b) thought it was suitable for broadcast and most shockingly c) that a "song" was the best way to apologise, only goes to show just how low they have sunk
