I must confess though that I had no idea who he was was but thought some on here may.

Hi Robin, I believe his son runs a picture agency in Leeds Andrew Varleys, I think they're the offical photographers for Leeds United too. Kind regards Graham.

Haa I ahve heard of that Varley.. Visited the website many moons ago.

I did read in the article that his son was in the business.

Could you imagine going back to the 1966 final with a Mk IV or a D3s and 400 F2.8

Not a lot of good unless you take your laptop and printer though.
