Job in Kent

Hmm. Saw in the local rag that the Kent Messenger is advertising for freelance or staff photographers (not just for sport, though). Doesn't say how much they will pay or what the deal is, but the closing date is 9 April. Doesn't appeal to me and I dont want unsocial hours. Doesn't appeal to me as I've heard they treat their chaps quite badly (which is probably why they left ...)

just as a point of interest.. I would never make such a big life changing decision as a job.. based on what I heard and/or probably ? OK you dont want the unsociable hrs.. but your also spreading damaging gossip about the paper while spreading word about the job ?

I have a work college who's sister is a photographer for KM. She seems to do quite well, she certainly never moans about her work and is always busy.

Not a job I would fancy, but at least they are advertising jobs......

If you're NCTJ qualified, you pretty much know what the salary is going to be.
