Jessops website nonsense

This isn't a rant about Jessops staff, they don't even get a look in this time.

I got given some Jessops vouchers at Christmas and want to put them towards a Manfrotto 410 geared head. I was in Derby anyway today so called into the shop and immediately realised there was no chance of them having one in stock, they're stock selection for a big city was rubbish. So I came home and thought I'd order one online. Firstly I can't use my voucher online (pathetic in this day and age) and secondly I can't order one to collect in store, that's any store, I've tried Loughborough, Derby, Burton, Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham and Brighton.

Why couldn't me relatives have got me Jaobs vouchers instead?!

They always tell me in store 'we can order this for you'. Perhaps this would work with vouchers.

Yeah I ended up in town today so called in to the Loughborough branch and they're ordering one in for me. The downside of doing it this way is I don't get the 15% online discount there is at the minute and I've got to way 10 working days for it to arrive from Manfrotto to the store.

Reckon you were just plain unlucky, just tried it at my local store (Cambridge) and it says can be collected, so presumably you would get the discount as well
