Jessops codes dont tend to work with DSLR's and often not on lenses either which is a shame.

The best way to use these codes on a DSLR is to buy an accessory on top.

For example, if you select a D300 at £925 and add a crumpler bag at £46, then use the discount code for £800 to £999, it will discount the bag by the full voucher amount i.e. £40 in this case. Therefore you get a heavily reduced or free gift item instead of adirect saving on the DSLR.

Just tried that and yes, it works, however they want £90 for a Lowepro Slingshot 200 which can be had for nearly 50 quid less elsewhere

Is better to buy an accessory close to the voucher value to get the best deal.

Yeah, but they charge £50 for a 4gb Extreme III, which is £15 elsewhere. It was better before, even though it said "excluding Nikon D300" I still got the discount :naughty:

Then again, you wouldn't buy the D300 from Jessops when Purdy do it for £888 :D

i tested it on nikon / sigma (nikon fit) lenses, so sorry for the exclusions guys.

Hi

Thanks for the tip.

Can you only use one voucher code per order?

The reason I ask is that I have a code for the lens I'm after and I tried to add the xmas code too but it won't accept two codes.

Seeing as you seem to know about these things, is there any way round this (with me being greedy)?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Lisa

I've never tried 2 codes on Jessops and would need the other code to try it.

In my experience some companies allow multiple codes and some don't. It's a bit of a lottery I'm afraid.

Hmm trying to use it with a Siggy 150 Macro and it doesn't apply...

Ah, it did after a refresh! Also I saved more with the "jessops5" code (£22 off instead of £20)

Does anyone know when these vouchers expire?, I'm thinking of getting myself a D700 for christmas but I'd like to buy in the middle of December.

If you can hang off until Boxing Day then you might save a bit extra - I bought my D300 on Dec 23 and on Dec 26 they knocked £100 off the price :bang: Jessops gave me the extra £100 back though when I asked :)
