Jessops=Useless

Finally recieved my lens but not without more fun and games with Jessops.Got told it would definatly be before 12pm as Jessops booked it to come before that because of not delivering on the day that they said...turned up about 2.00pm.Also got told that the lens was going to my registered cards address as I had not changed it over yet.Which was not a problem as a family member lives in my old house but was out for the day so I went down and waited in for the delivery to arrive.Only to find out that it was going to my current address and was never going to my old one at all.

All in all it has been a little bit of a nightmare with Jessops to say the least.Gonna send a complaint and woman on the phone today said should get some sort of compensation for all the messing about and phone calls that I have had to make to them over the matter.

Atleast I finally have my lens which I love!
 
Jessops have gone through a major shake up over the last few years. As staff in my local shop seem to change often, so staff turn over is a problem. Gone are all the long timers who use to work there who new a thing or two about cameras and photography.
I do not feel I know alot, however feel I know more than all the jessops staff when I enter the shop ! !
 
I like to think our branch has knowledgable staff, but I would say that as i'm one of them :bonk:
 
agreed, i popped in as i was passing, this was just before the canon 8-15mm fisheye was out (as it kept getting delayed) asked when it would be due and the staff member looked at me blankly :-s
