Jessops - Transfer of 12 month warranty?

Morning All,

I'm thinking of buying a second hand x100 from someone who purchased from jessops in september. I'm aware of the 'sticky blades' issue that seems to be happening to a high volume of units.

My question is, whats jessops view on warranty when the purchase has been transferred / sold?

I just don't want the hassle if they start questioning or wanting ID.

I'm sure someone will correct me but my take on this is that it's a known issue which Fuji are happy to fix for free and they wouldn't involve Jessops or any other retailer in this.

I was thinking of getting a used one but they hold thir prices so well that there wasn't that much of a saving to be made plus buying new meant I could spread the cost a little and take out a Dom & Gen policy on it which I have found to be very useful in the past.
 
Thanks for your response, I think I will give it a shot, hopefully as you said I can just deal with Fuji directly regarding any issues.
