I got 1 from Cheltenham 4GB £2.25 so that made my day
 
I can't find them anywhere :( real downer, cracking deal for those that got them.

I didn't get one either :(

When the offer first popped up, I was at home (West Midlands) for Christmas and my local store didn't have any, but the Portsmouth (uni) store did. The reservations are only for 3 days though, and after calling them, they said they couldn't keep it for me so I missed out. Ah well...

It annoys me a bit. same with the 40D kit from Argos on ebay. People buying in bulk to make a fast £ denied me and I'm sure others of the chance to buy a nice new camera at a nice price. :'(
 
Yep agreed, I currently have three 4GB Extreme III cards which are easily filled when shooting a gig (in RAW+JPG format) and could have done with an 8GB card (just one would be fine which would mean no card changes during the main band!)

To be honest, I wouldn't risk buying a memory card from eBay and rather stick to trusted retailers like Amazon and Play.

Yeah I know its a joke, especially when they are relisted straight away at a mental price increase :(
 
Called in at the Preston store today only to see an 8gb Extreme 3 card hanging on the rack behind the counter displayed a full price. So I mentioned to the sales assistant that they had been on offer @ £5.50, he wasn't aware of this offer so I asked him to scan it to check the price. He was quite amazed when £5.50 was display on the screen. Needless to say I couldn't get my wallet out fast enough. :banana::banana:

This makes up for last weeks apparent stock error at the Kendal branch that I was informed of on the morning I was going to pick it up. :bang::bang:

It pays to check in store as computer do lie.:D
 
well done in getting one for that price.

If anyone wants to sell one on at a good price pm me as id like one.

dont hold out much hope but if you dont ask you dont get :):)
