Yes
Save £50 on orders over £1000, code SUMMER50 (Online redemption only - will not be matched in-store. Excludes SLRs and lenses.)

So that'll be reserved for the time when you buy a grand's worth of memory cards in one go then?

Yeah I was saying the same thing at work the other day. What a pointless promotion that they keep going. I would have used it and bought the camera or lenses I got to a reasonable price but sadly excludeds anything of any worth.

HD Camcorders and bincoclaurs are the only other things i can see over £1k. Unless you bought a GF-1 kit and a printer etc.

I bet they do it just so they get listed on the countless voucher and hot deals sites. Nothing but blatant SEO bashing!

That would be my thoughts as well!!!

they also do 4% cashback thru quidco for everything except...........wait for it..........DSLR's/Lenses etc interesting marketing ploy for a photographic retailer:razz:

And they're vouchers always seem to exclude anything you actually want to buy...Amazingly, I am right in the middle of trying to buy something and this is sat there in the middle of my checkout basket as we speak

This voucher is not applicable for any of the products listed in your basket.

:nono: the 4% quidco applies to everything, certainly has every time I've used it! I remember when it used to be 8% too, saved quite a bit on a few well-timed purchases

I get 7% discount online because im a member of the NUT, that cant be used on SLR's or lenses either, but i guess it'll be useful for the one time i want to buy something off of their website!

interesting thanks, when you click thru it def states not for dslr and lenses, however theres a 5% discount voucher above these terms and it maybe applies to that- anyway, I'll try it and see, wont know if it works for ages though and by that time I've forgotten about it as my memory retention is about as good as a ...........

Yes, the 5% doesn't apply to DSLRs/lenses but the usual 4% definitely does, and it tracks quickly so you should get an email notification from Quidco within a couple of days of purchasing.

My experience with Jessops is a little like the title of the thread really.

What's the point!

They're just easy to use cos they're high street. In my experience most of the time they're uncompetitive, unknowledgeable, their customer service is poor and they are inflexible with their pricing!

Gawd, Jessops do get a bashing on here don't they?! I guess half the time they deserve it. It's is also what happens if you end up virtually monopolising the high street as a camera/ imaging store.

Me too & I wanted to buy a flashgun. I think what it really means is you can use the vouchers against anything vastly overpriced compared to our competitors ! Still shouldn't be surprised that's how retail works :bonk:

I'm surprized they have any shops left open, when you consider the great service you get from the likes of Warehouse Express and Park Cameras etc. Jessops don't get any of my hard earned any more.:nono:

enter quido5 or jessops5 as a discount voucher and you will get it off all your extras.

Ive just tried it for some thing and now it is saying its expired.
