Hi guys, ok So i have a Ilford delta 400 film needing developing and yes it has important work of mine on.
Ive been soo busy these past few months i just wanted to get it done. Boots already lost one of my films, yes a black and white film. But hey I got 20 pound boots voucher and 5 pounds and a roll of 36 exposure xp2 for my trouble. Thats what i call customer service. Unfortunatly my film got lost on the way to the B&W devlopers :(.

Anyway so i went with jessops, handed it over and said please take care of it! That was last Saturday, what have i done, should i prepare for bad quality prints or no prints at all!

Anybody else experienced the service?
I used the Jessops shop In Lakeside Thurrock.

Why dont u ring the store and ask for an update on whats going on with ur film?

I work in Jessops, and a lot of people think Jessops staff are idiots and completely ignorant about cameras.

I think your film will be fine, since the developing in our store goes absolutely dandy. I've been there for nearly 2 months, and the only problem anyone has ever had with their prints is that on some of the photos half of the photo was black, but that was down to the shutter not opening fully.

Oh no the staff are helpful, but i just don't trust high street send away services, no matter what the business. But i am sure i will recieve them back fine.

The staff in my local one really are though. they seems to lack technical knowledge, customer skills and hygiene skills. Having said that, I found the staff in the London store I went to very helpfull and knowledgable.

So why use them? If it's important try to find a mini lab or pro that does B&W or better still develop the film yourself and scan or get prints done in a lab.

Well i ould but i have no time. Well it's personal work so if it does go missing i'll be annoyed but for clients it's digital now so i have no time to go down to london.
