Jessops Bargain - Nikon Lens

Just seen on CPB the Nikon 18-70 lens for £199 - it is £279 elsewhere!

This is a lovely lens, very good value and aside from any f/2.8 mid range zooms, the best you can get imo.

This is Jessops being there usual selves. They do this all the time. They did this with a lot of Sigma lenses after they stopped stocking Sigma last year. The lens is not in stock so they post a silly price to spike the price comparison websites, "No Longer Available for Home Delivery". As soon as it goes back into stock the price will come back to the same as everyone else.

If you're lucky there may be one or two on the shelves of a couple of stores somewhere in the country.

It's not a mad / silly price, £199 is just about right , it's even used to be cheaper!
I doubt anyone would want it at £279 when they can get the far better 16-85VR for £100 more!
