Jessops are on crack....

nothing is in stock or avail for home delivery just tried all the lenses that are going cheap... if I could get the two fish eyes for a total of 160 quid id buy a second hand sd14 to mount em on!

Heads up guys,

Jessops have lowered the price of most of Sigma's telephoto stuff :D

120-300 f/2.8 EX EG for £1449, just popped to the shop to get one and didn't really believe they'd let it go for that... that's the lowest I've seen it new.

and more of a shock is their 100-300 at £600, I saw second hand ones go for £50 more a week ago!

bargain!!!
god bless jessops and their crazy pricing strategy :D
Hope it's useful ;)

I thought I put Canon????

guess not

genuinely though, I could've sworn I mentioned Canon only, sorry about the confusion my Nikon Chums :'(

Meh, look at it this way, it's cost you £1449 and saved us £2599

I got a Sigma 18-200 from my local branch.

They only had one left, the one on display, they could not find the box, so I got another 30% off, well chuffed as I do not care about the box, still got full guarantee.

Ended up paying 40% of what it is for sale elsewhere for, pretty happy :)

:)

The Sigma 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6 EX DG ASPHERICAL HSM for Nikon is £400 (half price). cheapest proper online UK retailer seems to be around the £600

Hmmm.....now there are loads of stores near me with that one in stock.

Let's hope there's more than one instore because I'd want to check it thoroughly for focus issues first.

I got the 105 macro from Jessops Leicester yesterday for 250... Had to buy a 500D to fit it to though ;)

Checked stock online and then told the wife to get out of work and run down there to get it put aside for me!

Rumour is that Sigma is no longer jessops ' preffered' brand .

Yep that's true. Spoke to 'em on Monday and they said they've decided to stock Tamron only as a thirdy party lens option with Canon, Nikon and Sony being their big three. They're ruddy idiots!

No, they are probably up to their eyes in debt with Sigma who have said they won't supply them any more!
