Yes
Popped into Jessops last week, mainly to have a peek at the 7DII. The chap then recommended a better lens instead of better camera, and also started talking about the academy course. They do various ones eg motorsport, macro, wedding, Big Cats etc. As far as I can see it's a one-day event but doesn't mention how long the session is, how much teaching is involved etc.

Any thoughts?

The previous incarnation of Jessops had a training academy. primarily based in several of their stores around the country. i attended a couple of workshops at the New Oxford Street (London) store. I think the days ran from 09:30-16:30

Before they crashed, Jessops Academy was previously actually a 'white label' operation run from near Birmingham by a management consultancy type company and operating in several stores including London, Birmingham, Liverpool and Glasgow.

As a matter of fact, I am going on 1-to-1 2 1/2 hours Jessop Academy tomorrow morning.

I had a Jessops academy motor sports day bought for me a couple of months ago. Booked for August at Brands Hatch.
Its a way in the future but I'll report back afterwards.
