Would this be any good to use with a 430exii?
 
Says £99 but has been selling for £79 for a long time now.

I am sure they were on special offer at £39.99 last year when i bought mine :thinking:
 
Not sure what they were on offer for last year, i thought it was £49.99

But they are on offer now for £59.99

They were, but they weren't supposed to be - there was a break down of communication which resulted in the price being dropped and a voucher code being inadvertently issued at the same time, meaning that the flashguns ended up at below cost price :lol:

The £59.99 price is just slightly above the regular wholesale (vat inclusive) cost, so is about as good as you'll get, especially if it's combined with the Quidco cashback :thumbs:
 
Just been and collected mine, so feeling pretty pleased. Just got home and found oout that my AA beteries are flat, so not had a play yet!
 
Bought mine today for £59, Ettl makes it easy to take decent pics.
Took 30 pics or so then lost synch from camera to flash.
eventually reset camera to factory default been fine since.
For the money you cant go far wrong.
Would have liked a stand for it when off camera though.
 
I've had one of these for a few months now - In my opinion its a really nice flash, nice manual control and decent output for something so cheap.

Unfortunately it goes to sleep a lot which is a major PITA - must really invest in some 602's!!

I'm tempted to buy another one now that i see them on offer actually!

Although i havnt got any experience of other flashes to compare it with i`d recomend this flash, had one for the last month or so. Bought it second hand off ebay and not had a problem with it, very easy to use and pleased with the results i get.
 
I've just went and bought another TWO of them, what is quite pleasing is that they come with

FREE NEXT DAY DELIVERY

Hard to resist, now to get me some 602's, stands, and mounts!
