well i cant get it out off ETTL mode so the flash wont work. im sure i have the right one and dont know if anyone has brought one before but i didnt get any instructions in mine.

no matter what mode i shoot in the flash doesnt want to know but the onboard on will...

any ideas help would be great... my manual refers me to the intructions that come with the flash:thinking:

Just been looking at this on the jessops sale sheet and im very tempted to get it. Let me know whats is like when you get it sorted.

Hi there i bought one for my 400D and it works no probs, just fit it on and its away.
 
must have a problem with mine the ready light doesnt come on either nore the ok one... just ETTL off to jessops it is then..

If the ready light doesn't come on, could it be that the batteries are low?

Sorry for the rather obvious question.
 
quite possibly there re-chargable one so ill try that before taking them back. i didnt think off that thanks mate

yep batteries were dead even though they were recharchable all working now...

For £33, i think you're asking a bit much there, the only setting is manual adjustment of the angle of the flash and lens length as far as i'm aware
 
yeah has above i use a diffuser with mine and makes a big differance. cheap but does the job for now...:)
