jessoPs 2x converter

Hi all, just wondered if anyone has used a jessoPs 2x converter, thinking of buying one to use on a 75 300 lens, any info would be great, cheers All.

Don't, IQ will be average at best and you will lose autofocus.
2x teleconverters should really only be used on fast (f2.8 or better) lenses and even then they can have quite an impact on your pictures.

I hear so many bad things about 2x converters, though mine works good on the 70-200 f4 including auto focus.
Not had a chance to upload much to Flickr but here's a handheld with the jessops 2x but I'd recommend a tripod as not easy taking handheld.

What he said. Here's one from me with the same lens.
Taken from over 3000ft at the summit of Whernside and approx. 5k distance. Yes, it needs good light, but is usable in the right conditions.
