A while ago, i signed a petition on the HM petition website for JC to become PM.

I got this reply.

it is a requirement that to be pm you need to be a member of labour or the conservatives - is Jeremy Clarkson a member of either of these two? - if no he he has no chance anyway

Narh, you just have to start a party that has the majority seats in the commons.

In theory, if all the viewers who watches Top Gear or reads his column votes for his party, he might get enough seats to be pm, may be.
 
Clarkson should be PM, he's an utter legend and will bring something fresh to the table.
