Jenny's Oktoberfest Challenge - Final shot added

Everybody needs some wood every now and then.. and that's an impressive selection of wood there....

I think #2 is the most impressive wood :-)

Suffering from serious lack of time this week :(

We had a beautiful red sky on Monday morning, and yes, it did rain later.

Not sure if I am happy with this one, but C & C welcome anyway.

I really don't like to keep posting landscapes when landscapes are not really my "thing", and also certainly not my "thing" with my macro lens! However, no time to seek out the things I normally photograph. I had a spare 10 minutes yesterday when the sun came out so I attempted to capture the autumn colours over the garden fence.

Maybe I can get back to my usual subjects this weekend.

I'm not a landscape person either!

Nice autumn colours, your landscapes are better than mine.

Jenny your landscape shots are awesome. Beautiful depth to them. The tones are quality. I love them.

Loving both of those... such colours, depth, detail...

Thanks, Jim. I would really like to learn how to do landscapes properly.

Lovely colours in those landscapes :)

Thanks, Suz. It was the colours that I was trying to capture.

Thanks, Martin. It is such a colourful time of year.

Hi Jenny

beautiful Bee...love the detail you caught

Liking your 1st wood image as well..nice n abstract, lovely detail

Thanks, Lynne. When you look closely at wood and bark, the textures are really quite amazing.

I went out yesterday to take some photos of spiders webs and dew drops. The results were horrible so I cannot post them :(

Today, it was a bit too windy to take close-up pictures outside so I opted for the easy option - indoors. I am quite pleased with this one.

I did not enhance that colour. It really did look like that.

Lousy day for outdoor photography again today so I was forced to shoot indoors.

Nothing special about these 2 except for the fact that they are spring flowers - picked today. Do they realise it is the end of October

C & C welcome.

Love the low key images.... The leaves are just wonderful.....

that creeper leaf is a cracker... great lighting on the flowers too . Just can't decide if the yellow one needs the leaf or not... or maybe better with a full leaf or none at all

Lol, Martin, I had to Google "low key". I am not very good with technical terms. Thanks for your comments and helping me learn something new!

Thanks, Leigh. I was not sure about the leaf either. I think it would have been better with the full leaf, but the flower would have been smaller to fit it all in the frame.

jen..you're just soo good  ... love that yellow! striking

Thanks, Kev. Your comments are much appreciated.

Oh dear, it would have been nice to go out with a bang rather than a carp shot :(

This is the best I could manage today . . .

I think it is a kind of stonefly which was watching me all day on my office window.

I would like to thank everyone who commented on my shots - your comments are much appreciated.

Finally, a big thank you to Dave for organising this. I needed something to get me off my backside and taking shots again. It was fun. Thank you

Jenny

jenny .. what your last shot lacks in being clipped off the sides, it makes up with the details you've captured.. well done..

well done Jenny... last shot certainly isn't carp... simple, sharp and easy on the eye (if a stonefly can be?)

well done for completing the challenge....

I like the last shot... sharp as anything and well lit
