Hello everyone,

I haven't used my Jenaflex camera for sometime , having ordered some film I decided to put one of them in but could not get the camera to wind on. The mirror appears to be stuck in the up position. Any ideas what is wrong ? Would a flat battery cause it to do this ?

I'd say its a fair assumption. The manual makes no mention of being able to use it without a battery, and its something seen on a lot of electronic SLR's that it won't even cock the shutter without the battery, so I'd say thats probably your issue.

The Olympus OM 10 does the same....so my first guess would be a dead battery.
 
Thanks everyone , I'll get an order in for some new batteries.
