I set about trying to start practicing with my new (2nd hand) 105mm Macro lens on my Nikon D90, any criticisms/comments/advice welcome, I love macro photography although not very good and had really poor lighting for these shots, buy the way im not a lunatic I just don't like the orange, yellow or green ones!

If any one has any other random ideas for macro shots to get some practice in with my lens please let me know!

you could shoot some water droplets or smoke art loads of people practice doing that. btw i love black jelly babies so if i recreated that image then all the blacks would have been eaten lol

I love the shots too, but did they take that long that you had to eat the subjects :D

i have been so good, i want to recreate some more real life scenes with jelly babies so have saved them, however i manage by having an open bag of haribo jus out of camera shot to nibble on

Is there any way of cleaning the white powder off them?

When I was in Miami I found a really nice set of painting of Gummi Bears and I wished I'd have bought one as I regret it now. Maybe it's a good excuse to go back for another trip.

stick to 3 colours in the foreground and one predominant in position...you will then get a sharp dominant subject and 2 supportives

do you eat the head first...its obligitory in a christian country
