JD's 365.

Shes a great model :) Theres something about dog shots in b&w isnt there!?

There is Lisa. I'm a bit obsessed with B&W at the moment. :)

Nice comp there mate, nice sharpness around the eyes, plus it's a pleasing mono to boot ;)

Cheers mate, it's the 7th mono of the last 8 days. The only reason the other one was colour was that it was a film shot. ;)

Day 352.

A massive delivery day spent driving from Belfast to Newry to Newcastle and then back to Belfast. I haven't even looked at any of the other shots today, having a large drink or 9 tonight, so I just picked one of the ones I shot in Belfast on the way home. Shot through the van window and cropped quite heavily. But I like it. :)

Day 353.

A day spent with my mum shopping and taking wreaths to my Grandads and Stevies graves. This is the first time I've went with her at Christmas, she's done it for Granda since he died in 1996 and it's always the last Saturday before Christmas.

I think it's sad that now she has one more to do. I fully intend on going with her from now on.

Today is the first time I haven't been to Vicki's Nan's grave for the Christmas visit.
It's never easy, and I can never decide if I should be there or not.

Shot for the day done and dusted by 1130, can't beat it. Means I have the rest of the day to enjoy. Hopefully will get out and about again for some snowscape shots. :D

This is the first time Marley has seen snow, I was right, she did try to eat it!!

Missed focus on the first, but it's hard when a flying Jack Russell is coming hurtling towards you!! :D

Did exactly the same with the flying Jack Russell this morning. Looked on the back of the camera and thought it was a corker. Looked at it on the big screen at home........:shake:

Second shot's a cracker.

Cheers Marc, I actually looked at the both of them on the back of the camera and thought they were crap. :D

I overexposed by nearly 2 stops, had to bring it back a bit in post, it's worked nicely. :)

Day 356.

I bought myself a present today. Did quite well if I do say so myself, the salesman sighed when I asked, "do you price match" Which they did. ;)

A P&S makes a lot more sense to me for work now, the iPhone isn't great at all, it's all right for some comic ISO settings, but that's it.

9 days to go, yes I am counting them down. I can't even be annoyed fixing the shot to avoid the dead light centre bit.

At the rate your going you will be able to use a camera a day :)

Nice camera, those Lumix. I'd love a Canon G10/G11 as it's basically a DSLR in a fixed body, but at £470 a pop for the G11 it's way too expensive, would be the ultimate P&S though ;)

Vicki will be jealous.
TZ6 is what she really wanted but it was about £250 a few months back.

A day spent driving long distances, my dad sent me over a gorilla pod for Christmas so I had a go at a long "starry night" exposure on the way home. Works well for a P&S. Overall very happy with the purchase. :) This could have been sharper if I had spent a bit more time on the gorilla pod. ;)

Like the no smoking sign, is that a reminder?
I used my full size tripod for my in car stuff mate. 2 legs in the rear footwells and the 3rd into the ski hatch, worked a treat.
