JD's 365.

That's one nice looking camera in day 282 and a pretty good film shot today.

Gotta love the Zorki!! It might become a bit of a trailer queen now that I have my FM. I can see this being the start of another obsession!! I'm currently looking at home developing kits and learning how to develop Ilford HP5+..

Day 284.

Spent this morning at Nutts Corner for the 1st round of the British Rallycross Championship. The weather was all over the place, it would rain for 15 minutes, then dry up, and the sun would come out. Then it would rain. Was annoying to say the least!!

John and I ended up getting a bit cold so came home about lunch time. Was quite disappointed with the turn out of competitors, there were only 2 of the top cars there, this xsara and a fiesta.

Still, it was practise for me anyway. :)

Oooh, never been to RallyX.
Never shot filum.
You are making me jealous.

Been lovely here for days :D

Love the motion in the wheels!

I think it was about 1/200?? I tried a couple at 1/100, but couldn't get any keepers slower than that. :)

Rallycross is an excellent day out Merv. Very quick action, blink and you miss it sort of stuff. Most of the top guys are running 600-700bhp, in a fibreglass shell capable of 0-100 in less than 3 seconds. Hence why I stayed safe around 1/160-1/200. ;) And film? You don't know what you're missing!!

Day 285. Oh What Could Have Been...

Spent this morning in our poor excuse for a tax office getting a licence for the Mondeo. I then spent the next 4 hours putting a handsfree kit into the car as well, Fords are quite well put together, it has to be said!!

Major schoolboy error tonight. I had a sunset shot planned, I had my tripod, camera, seat, filters, coat, flask of tea, (yes, flask of tea) and plenty of time to set up etc. Only to realise when I got there that I had no memory cards. Not one. They were all sat 30minutes away from where I was in the other camera bag!! Raging wouldn't describe it!!

So I drove home, woke Marley up and took her picture, No NR on the D90, looks all right for 6400 ISO.

Nightmare!
I usually think of something I may have forgotten when I'm a couple of minutes away.
The neighbours must think I'm mad, quite often come home 5 mins after leaving and go straight back out again

That is gutting mate, I've done that before and it's not funny :(

It's having to much kit, It's spread out over two bags now. I put them into the "motorsport/urbex" bag yesterday, but didn't take them out. :bang:

Well, I can't remember if I've locked the front door 30 seconds after locking it!! So I lock the door, get into the car, start the car, think "did I lock the front door?", can't remember and get out and check it. Everytime, without fail

Ouch. I'm paranoid about memory cards as I'm terrified that it will happen to me. That looks pretty good for 6400 ISO BTW.

Oh, and glad to hear that Fords are put together well, I'm getting one in December. ;)

I think it looks ok because we are comparing it to the last shot of Marley, which was on film. ;)

You'll love your ford, mondeo or focus??

Day 286. That'll Be A Kettle Then...

Another complete morning spent with "psycho" granny. We managed to get completely lost in Ikea. I know it's easy, just follow the arrows. But, some grandparents are convinced that anything I say is the wrong thing. So we got lost. I've been to Ikea twice and got lost both times.

So an afternoon spent putting shelves up, ordering oil, updating my Parrot handsfree kit etc. I will be out and about tomorrow, I fancy taking a drive and seeing where I end up. :D

Day 287. Giant's Causeway.

A typical Norn Irish day, grey sky, crap light. It drizzled the whole time.. Thought I would take a drive up to here and try at least to get something slightly different for my 365 shot. I much prefer it in B&W rather than colour. I also recieved my Raynox 250 filter today, I'm going to love it!!
