Day 174. How much Longer!!!!

What a belter of a day!! I was at a loss for inspiration all day, didn't pick up the camera at all. So decided to go to Brown's bay near Larne and take a sunset. Best laid plans are always broken, ended up with a call out to go to, so nipped into Whitehead on the way home and took this. Bit of a cop out, will try harder tomorrow!!

I'm in Donegal again, must resist the temptation to go back to Lough Eske. I noticed an old military fort on the outskirts. Might have a wee peak at that.
 
How far is it for you??

I could be in the sea in 15 minutes. Not that I'm going too, but I could. Norn Iron is a great wee country, so much diversity in the landscape. It's all very close to each other as well. It is THE place to be if you are a lazy tourist, explains why we have soo many Yanks....
 
I'm land locked, boring land too.
Closest beach is probably Weston, about 80 miles, that's 15 further than Silverstone.

I love the coast!! I keep forgetting that England is massive in comparison to here. It would feel very strange to not be close to the sea. :)

Thanks Chris, his wife thought it was hilarious. I think it's being put in their bathroom of all places!! :lol:
 
Day 175. Dunfanaghy Co.Donegal. AGAIN AGAIN!!

Was up at 6ish, out of the house for 630ish and away up the road to Co. Donegal. Bought 4 cans of red bull at a service station, which was a mistake!! Was on a caffeine buzz the whole trip!! I tired to get a few different pictures of Dunfanaghy this time. So little effort to get to here, the van was about 5m behind me with Green Day-Basket Case full whack!!
 
Day 176. Up High In The Air.

Normal day at work except for finally getting round to going up in the cherry picker to take a photo of the development for Bern, who is extremely afraid of heights. (:p) It's some sort of new community development in Seacourt in Larne. found this one the most interesting and therefore the one for my 365.

To the left is FG Wilson's the generator factory. And beyond that the port of Larne.
 
Day 177. Front Door, Sunset.

Outrageously humid day at work, spent the majority of it in an egg box factory in Lurgan, inside the boiler house. Average temperature was around 43 degrees celcius, part of the risk assessment for the job was that we had to take a break every 15 minutes. I can honestly say I've never been warmer in my life. I'm completely lacking any motivation tonight so I stood at the front door and took a picture of the clouds.
 
Day 178. Botanic Gardens, Palm House.

Spent the usual Saturday taking my Gran shopping, then into Belfast to meet Bern and Julie. Jules had to go home so Bern and I decided to go to the Botanic Gardens in town. Very nice wee day it was as well!! I've definitely made a friend in my 17-55. It suits me down to the ground, I maybe wish it was a bit wider but I've only had it over a week, it's only been off the d90 once.

Lazy Sunday, did absolutely nowt all day long. Bern came round to go through a few wedding shots, then I decided to go and sit on top of a hill in the cold and take a few sunset shots. Lacking inspiration at the moment. Need a wee kick!!!

Just catching up.

Love the 173 caretaker portrait and the 174 sunset, stunning!!!!!!!

Also like the DoF you used in 178 Botanic gardens.

Don't see a pic for 179 :shrug:

ahh do now, great shot, worth the wait :)

Day 180. BEER!!!

Crappy monday, was it just me or was it a lot hotter? Didn't have any time for a shot today so another beer inspired one. It was also the "mini twelfth" in Ballyclare, but it was a waste sitting outside the house as the parade route didn't go that way!!! D'OH!!

I love the 17-55!! :love:

Lets play spot the remote!!
