That's exactly why I did it, If you can't crop it out this works well. It's really very easy to do, it must have took me 3 or 4 minutes tops. If you are careful it could be done a lot better! :thumbs:

Torr Head is gorgeous, I could have stopped a lot more on the way home! You booked a holiday here yet??

Was out on a call late last night so had a wee lie in. Went off to a couple of the ww2 refugee camps again today, this wee lamb seemed to like me, kept trying to lick the 10mm lens!!

So I thought it would be rude not to use his picture for the 365! :thumbs:​

Of the sky kind. Such a crap day, my first as a non-smoker. No patch, pill, hypnosis or help book, just good old fashioned will power.

It's been really hard, I haven't really thought about anything else all day except wanting a smoke. I have felt extremely strange, almost like I'm an observer on my own life. Just felt disconnected from reality a bit!! So for today you get an unrealistic photo, truthfully this is how it probably looked, to me anyway.
 
That is a super big landscape shot, love the clouds and the green ground.

Only thing I notice on my monitor is there seems to be a large darker patch in the center of the clouds.

Good luck going cold turkey too :)

Day 160. Lough Eske, Co.Donegal.

Not smoking has really affected my distraction times. I was driving around this lough for quite a while looking for access to the waters edge, It was as still as I've ever seen a lough. I actually had to wait for the trout to stop jumping, as the ripples could be seen for a large part of the picture.

Anyway day 2 of not smoking. Patch installed, quite a good day. Still thought about smoking all day though, but I'm sure that will pass.

Edit: Yes I was standing in the water with my shoes and socks off.
 
The water looks great,

But you need to get a polariser and go back and to another shot for your 365 ;)
 
Cool, I bet that was hard to get the exposure for, probably need ND Grads too.

Just the usual day at work, cravings have subsided a bit and I'm feeling a lot more energetic. It was a fair old hike down to this viewpoint, the walk back up nearly killed me!!

Went with Bern tonight to meet the wedding couple for Friday. Very nice they were as well, very relaxed, should make for a good day. Hopefully the weather holds out!
 
I prefer the 2nd image for Day 161, much better foreground interest. However the water is a better colour in the 1st ... hmmmm. Lovely view!
 
Agree 2nd has much better foreground interest, but looks a bit overcast flat.

The sea looks fantastic on the first :)

Was really very busy today, didn't have a chance at all to look at the camera. So a day in the life of an ex-smoker who's trying to keep himself occupied. Just really getting ready (early, I know) for the wedding tomorrow. Batteries charging, all lens cleaned, cards formatted and suit ironed. Boring isn't it??
