I think I have some how managed to turn off or delete javascript from my pc. When I tried to open an estate agents website I was instructed that i needed adobe flash player, I have now installed this but still cannot access various sites. Youtube kindly pointed out that "javascript may be turned off" but I have know idea how to turn it on again.
I have windows xp and Internet Explorer 7 and have never had any probs with either till I cleared the internet history for the first time.

Anybody got a clue as to what I need to do, help would be much appreciated.
Stephen.

just googled and came up with

Find the "Internet Options" option in the menubar of your browser (it's probably located in the Tools menu). Click on the "Security" tab. Make sure the "Internet" globe icon is highlighted. Click on the "Custom Level..." button to bring up the security options for your browser. Search through the menu for the "Active scripting" option. Make sure "Enable" is selected. Click the "OK" button. Close this window and click the "Refresh" button of the page requiring Javascript.

not sure if there are changes in IE7. - give it a try

Looks like IE7 has a habit of disabling Java - for safety:lol:

Better yet - instructions for IE7
1. Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
2. Click the Security tab.
3. Click Custom Level in Security Level for this Zone.
4. Scroll down to Scripting, near the bottom of the list.
5. Under Active Scripting, choose Enable.
6. Click OK to leave Security Settings. Click OK to leave Internet Options.
7. Click the Refresh button in the Address Bar at the top of your browser, or press F5.

OK so it looks the same :)

Restarted and still no joy. Bl**dy computers.
