Finally found a Poppy field worth visiting. I went there today mainly on a scouting mission, and took a few record shots while I was there. Not technically perfect but I like this one, the warm colours of the golden hour sunlight are appealing.

Maybe I'm being too fussy, but the top of the poppy is to close to the skyline, which bugs me slightly.
I may get this printed and framed. I've got around 10 empty frames kicking about.

I often drive past this line of trees and wonder if you can walk between, so yesterday I pulled up onto the grass verge and explored, it turns out there is a footpath through the centre. In an ideal world I would have been there slightly earlier to make the most of golden hour.
