Daily Jake's 365 Challenge

Sorry - been busy again - bee is gorgeous and those bluebell woods look so inviting :)

Oh man, got a bit behind and so many good ones here (142,143,144,145,146,147 I really like - love the colours in 147) but I think my overall fave is 152! Lovely scene.

Lovely, would look nice when the dappled sun reached these as well.

Thanks everyone! I will catch up with your threads, and with my uploads ASAP! I've been too busy loving the sunny weather!:lol:

Day 155

155/365 by JRTurnerPhotography, on Flickr

A late night/early morning star trail at Lydiard Park in Swindon. The long line to the left leading up is the International Space Station, and the short line central is a shooting star.

Canon EOS 5D Mark III|24-105mm L

Nice catch up Jake - loving the ballet shot - hoping to do some with my girlie like that through the summer :D

Amazing work. Love the sharpness and detail in 153, 154 is just an all round brilliant image and the light trails in 155 is brilliant. I can't believe you managed to include the ISS and a shooting star in the same exposure.

Thanks Tim! I was quite pleased when I saw the ISS was going to be coming up where I was shooting. I didn't even see the star until I processed the photos. I did see 2 shooting stars while I was shooting however, an iridium flare and a few smaller satelittes.

I love Bluebells and 155!

Catching up quickly here - love that sunset - although your watermark is placed horribly and really spoils it :(

I've not seen any Damselflies yet this year - nice colour on that one

Some good shots Jake, I like the sunset, but I wish the windmill was facing into the shot and not out of it.
Like the gliders too. My Dad used to build & fly them when I was a child, but no remote control then, the tail was set to make it circle, then a timer lifted the tail to make it come down, they were beautiful.

Some awesome photography Jake , the Ballerina is my Favourite

Thanks Vince :)

Thanks Sarah. I just slapped it on there, didn't really worry about placement. I was getting too frustrated that it wasn't turning out how I wanted it too

Thanks Sarah. I do also, but that would have meant a massive walk accross the field, and the colours would have been gone!

Giraffe is the pick for me too - although Malteser is kind of cute too.

Love the Giraffe shot Jake the DOF & focus is very good.

Day 166 and 167 are awesome Jake !!

Thanks everyone :) I was chuffed with the trip to Port Lympne. Possibly the most difficult zoo for photography I've ever been too, but also the best for animals, they all have massive enclosures. I stroked and fed Rhinos and fed these giraffes while we headed off road where usual safari's can't go.
