Daily Jake's 365 Challenge

Subscribing! Had a look through and some really nice photos. Really loving #33 and #43!

Very good and agree the starry sky is ace !

some great shots Jake

Loving the blue nose bear  very nicely captured  and the staple scraper is a very good example of the type  on the daffs it was just the last someone isolated flower on a dark background because it just looked to be floating in space

Thats Matt! :) Glad you like them!
Ah I guess you've never seen a space flower before? ;) Taken on board!

I tried oil on water a week or so ago but wasn't happy with the results either. Thinking about it, I was just using my 50mm so I might have another go, but reverse the lens this time (I got a revering ring off ebay for about a fiver a couple of years ago, it works pretty well but macro shots are still challenging). Really enjoy your staple city scapes

Ooh I like that! The colours are really gorgeous!

Thank you very much Toni! :)

Yea, that appeals to me too, nice colours Jake.

Thanks Phil, the secret to my colours is... A dish cloth!

Thanks Tim! I also used my 50mm, but I'm not too happy with it, I may have to buy a reversing ring! Sounds like an interesting idea!

Very nice, Jake :)

Thanks Sam! Wish I'd waited a bit because I found lego and took this! ...

Work is Tough! by JRTurnerPhotography, on Flickr

Henry was a bit confused when he turned up to work today. He was tasked to dig a 3m hole to take some core samples, but he had never encountered something so soft and squishy before! Not one to question it he set to work digging his hole. Shortly after the photography was taken Henry sadly had his head bitten, and Lego HQ never got their core samples.

*Please note, no animals were harmed in the making of this*

Oil and water is good.. but love work is tough!!

Like the staple city Jake, the sky makes it work really well. As for the lego, just watch out you don't start too much of a collection of toys :) I love the story that goes with it by the way.

Thanks Sarah! I was chuffed when my Mum said she thought our old lego was in the garage still :D I sat building Harry Potter scenarios and airplanes last night!

Beautiful Dof there Jake... tones are nice too, makes it look so cosy:thumbs:

Two lovely shots Jake, love the colours in the butterfly one :)

Today's is wonderful, I keep telling myself to get over to our local butterfly farm, this really makes me want to do it, your cat is looking really annoyed at your photo frolics with lego there, me thinks it endeds badly for the lego and for you ;)

Really nice photos over the last couple of days, Jake. The candles are great, well composed, different perspectives on some and good DOF.:)

Love the butterfly

candles jake...nothing says it like candles... great dof there.
