I really like that Jake the subdued colouring of the rose and highlighted definition of the words could have gone horribly wrong - but it works a treat :thumbs:

Day 30

Day 30. Almost 1 month done! It's been difficult at times I must admit. This is my teddy - Mousey. I've had him for as long as I can remember. He's been through the wars to be honest. Lost a lot of fur, an eye, an ear, an arm and a bit of his nose! But he is still irreplaceable to me!
 
Good god, Jake, you said all that happened to the cat before you got her as well.....looking at the decimation of Mousey, I have to wonder about that! :eek::suspect: I think I may have to report you to the RSPCTeddy bears:lol::lol:

Great shot of a much loved (and much abused) childhood toy - love it! :thumbs: :)

I must admit, I chewed his arm off as a toddler! (Well into a state of disrepair).
The rest is just due to age! He's been well cuddled in his life!

Quite like the shot of Tasha too, she looks a bit like she's saying "ok, will you f*** off with that camera already!!"
 
Very cute! I was going to do a teddy shot today too! (But just as I was setting up the door went with someone leaving in a fencing mask so Snuggles will have to wait til another time!)

He sure has! I've lost count of how many times his head has fallen off!
Normally as soon as I get the camera out she runs away - took half an hour to get one I was happy with. Bloody cat :lol:

Teddy shots are always a great fall back! With the torrential rain we're having here there isnt much more to do!

I am so glad you explained what it was, because when I first opened it up I was thinking 'how strange, that 2p looks like a pound coin' :eek: Nicely done - I like it:)
 
Well done on your first month, I had a good look at these earlier and wanted to type up now. Oh and that is the BEST chocolote...apart from Lindt...or maybe galaxy...or green & blacks....hmmm

Thank you very much! I like this photo challenge, keeps me using my DSLR as much as possible!
See you can't beat ordinary cadburys chocolate, lindt and those lovely seashells :love: :lol:

It's going well! (I think)
I'm attempting to eat healthier, so I've barely touched it!

Well done on your first month Jake, It hadn't even dawned on me earlier that it was the end of the first month :thumbs: nice work, both of them are wonderful and I love the story behind yesterdays :thumbs: will we be seeing him later in the challenge too I do hope so :thumbs:
 
Love the cuddly toy a good idea and one i shall possibly use... tho not mine of course being as old as i am.... my son is only 5 and his is in a worse state than yours already lol!

those coins are ace too.... now you are either not very good at eating chocolate or............. you got a Lorry load of it!!:lol::lol:

I look after Mousey these days! Can't have him getting damaged!

I got quite a bit of chocolate, but I'm cutting down on stuff like that, so it just isnt getting eaten! :lol:
