Yes
Was in today and that's some amount of stock they've got in, especially compared to Jessops up the road.

Some good deals on the photo paper, Epson Prem Photo doing buy 1 get 1 free and there's the extra 40% with the Ilford papers. It's probably national deals although I didn't see it in Jessops.

:)

I went in for a look today, didn't really think they had a fantastic range of stuff though, certainly no better than Jessops had before they downsized their Sauchiehall St branch.

They did have a few high-end Nikon lenses, but then so did Jessops and they couldn't shift them.......

I went in the other day to kill some time before a job I had, wasn't impressed.
Staff all seemed depressed as hell and couldn't answer my simple enquiry without consulting "the computer".
Nice display of Nikon kit and good to see it got pride of place while the Canon gear was relegated to behind the till area. :P
No nicer than Calumet have though.

I was in there not too long ago, thought the staff seemed quite depressed and weren't too eager to help, in my opinion. Think I will stick to Jessops in the future. Prices seem the same?

Definitely, it felt like a mobile phone shop or a branch of Argos rather than a camera shop employing people who have a passion for photography.
I applied for a few jobs there when they advertised during the summer on S1 but got a place on the degree the day before Jacobs offered me some interviews, thank god I decided to goto uni!

I tried to buy my 100-400 from Jacobs.

One word - FIASCO.
