Hi I was looking for an optech rain sleeve and came across this website with free postage
.http://www.jackthehat.co.uk/index.php

Most other websites selling those sleeves charge about £5 p& p bringing your purchase to double.

Has anyone heard of them or even bought from them ?
Thanks

I can't comment on JTH but I have a pair of the sleeves and have used them both. They are not designed as a long term solution, more a quick fix, but I'm sure they'll last me a while. I've actually only used them twice in two years. They are a bit fiddly and the fit around some lens hoods can be tricky (I think a rubber band or two would be better than the draw string), but they do at least keep the rain off your gear.

For a fiver the pair I'll give them a thumbs up, but if you want rain protection on a regular basis I think you would be better off going a little more up market.

Here's an eBay search that may get you a few extra results - http://photography.shop.ebay.co.uk/...5&LH_PrefLoc=1&_odkw=rain*+camera&_osacat=625

I recently bought the the Lumiquest Promax system from there.....

I emailed a question about postage and gave my mobile number and the chap sent me a few txt's to let me know what was happening....

My experience was FAB !

Cheers

Phil

I've dealt with them a few times, very helpful, only downside is I believe everything is sent second class so not the quickest but always worth the wait.

Thanks lads for that  Just looking at the weather this morning ,have decided to buy from them
p.s do they do one big enough for me to cycle to work
