Hello,

Any Ixus 60 users here, I am looking to pester you for hints and advice and see some of your pics.

When I can see images already done I may ask questions on how you did such things.

I know its not a SLR but its my second camera but my first bought Camera so be gentle.
 
Don't know if you will find fellow users of the same camera here but that is probably the last thing you should be worrying about :)

DSLR's take pictures the same as your camera does. Those of us that have them like big toys and also like to do some things with our special lenses that you can't do with a compact camera. Bottom line is what you include in your shot is more important than the camera most of the time.

I was looking back at some 2 megapixel pictures from my first compact camera today. For such a basic camera the quality is pretty good. Having spent the last few years much more interested in photography than I was then, I find myself bemused that I chose some of the shots I did. The composition and framing was awful :)

Anyway enough waffle. If you do need camera specific help with settings/problems etc. try joining a Yahoo group for Ixus cameras. http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/ixus/ You have to post messages by sending emails but you can search the archive on the web site. There are other ixus groups at Yahoo groups too.
