ive sold my first landscape print

id had some prints made of some of my shots and gave them to the fella wo does the framing for me to mount on card for an internal comp in my camera club, he gave them back to me and asked about my seascape panoramic print, anyhoo to cut a long story short, he wants to buy an a3 print for his front room.

The shocking thing is, he does framing for quite a few togs but im the first hes ever asked to buy a print from....

Edit: Just a min too late posting that! It's lovely. The sea is brilliant, it looks slightly HDR to me. Is it?

nope its a normal take, same scene taken on a tripod, 2 shots taken, one on slow shutter speed to get the sea and one taken on a fast shutter to get the sky and turbines, then stitched together on the horizon.

That's nice. It actually looks more like a painting than a photograph but perhaps that's due to the small size.

I think it falls within the limits of a panoramic... so post away!

Rules:

Panoramic images are permitted up to a maximum of 1024 pixels along the longest edge. We consider an image panoramic if it contains 2 or more shots stitched together, and has a 2:1 size ratio or higher. This means that if an image is 1024 pixels long, then it must be maximum 512 pixels high.

It's a lovely shot. The fact that it has a "painting" feel to it may be the element that made the sale? Who knows....quality is quality.

i thought i reconised it they have only jut finished buildng the windfarm after a lot of arguing about how they look out of place. I like them and was there a couple of months ago

im with st neots camera club, but there are many about, as far as im aware none are taking any new members this season but you can go along to some of their meets as a visitor and join for the next season
