Yes
I've just bought one of those Fotodiox Tamron ADII to Nikon adaptors, because I have 2 old lenses from my SLR days, a 28/2.5 and a 70-210.

Now I can't find the 70-210.

Does anyone know where it is?

I bought some flash triggers last week and i can't find them anywhere in my house, i actually think i threw them out with the parcel they came in :S

Good luck finding your lens.

Have you looked 'under the stairs'? there's usually loads of old forgotten stuff there.
Bet your other half has a bit of a tidy..............

I'm always losing things. An old lumix compact re-appeared last night on a shelf where I KNEW it should have been but it was completely invisible until last night. Found my copy of light, science and magic as well which I'd lost for 18 months too. Also found the snow leopard install DVD after 2 years of it being lost.

I'd have a tidy up and clear out. It seems to unearth all manner of previously hidden treasure ;)

i once buried a sixpence to test out a metal detector ,,never found it though ,must be worth at least a tanner now (you have to be of a certain age to understand this) :jimlad::jimlad:

Probably in the same place as my zip case with all my memory cards in, maybe they've eloped together

A woman has tidied it away and now you'll never find it again. At least, that's what happens in my house.

Or in my case, a man, as I am female

I lost a Sony battery in Dinorwig quarry last week, no idea how. Although a little later on the same evening my Canon 58mm f1.2 jumped out the bag too, luckily Dave noticed that going! Anyone on Pen Garrett level finding a little trail of camera equipment, please pass it on to David357 of the forum!

So you havent lost it...

Yes, No, Yes I meant last time I saw it I could see it if you know what.... oh never mind.

I have 2 stacking crates, one in the bedroom wardrobe with 'stuff i use' in which has all my working film and digital cameras, cases, lenses and filters and stuff. The other one is in the loft with 'things I don't use any more' like broken cameras, incompatible flash guns and processing gear.

Needless to say it is in neither of those 2 boxes, so I simply don't have a clue where it may have gone. Last time I used my SLR was about 2 years ago, but I won't have used that lens because I have a Tokina one too which is a direct fit..

I nearly lost a lens the other week at BWC ... it fell out of my glasses into a polecat enclosure. Luckily, the inhabitants didn't see it and a staff member was able to retrieve it for me :jimlad:

I've lost my marbles.
If anyone should find them alongside their lens, triggers, zip case or battery please keep them safe until I can come and collect them.

Where did you last see it?

My husband always asks me that when I've lost something or "Where did you put it?"
If I knew the answer to that I wouldn't be tearing the house apart looking for the damn thing would I?

I lost the plot ages ago, well if there ever was one, do you think they will all be huddled in a corner somewhere together

I don't know, but I often seem to lose the will to live after a particularly crappy day at work.
I'm wondering whether he's seen them and can tell us where they are.

I bet he has, and I know that feeling well, have it at the moment, not work .......................... sodding bitchy neighbours :bat:

TBH it's a combination of work plus bleeding builders in doing work on the house.
Thank god our neighbours are OK . . . and I have a nice bottle of wine chilling in the fridge.

Nice one, but shouldn't red wine be drunk @ room temperature ;)

Down the back of the sofa?

It occured to me I may have put it in one of the new lens boxes, but I've just been up the loft again and had a good look round but no dice.

Damn it's hot up there.

I lost a brand new shaver,I know I had it still got the lead and the box,and that was a couple of years ago  :$

I once lost a new pair of baseball boots many years ago, I suspect they went for a walk, or rather a family member took them for a walk. I put them in the cupboard ready for the week end, and I never saw them again !
