Yes
Printer! (I wouldn't be so silly as to buy a Canon camera)

Having been pondering buying a printer for a while I've decided to finally buy one. Up until now I've always printed things at work using their flashy laserjets, but I wanted a printer that could print onto dvds.

It's not for photos, dscl do that far to well

With lots of choice I got it down to Canon and Epson. The Canon won based on reviews...

Can't wait for it to arrive, do hurry Ebuyer!

which model

Canon Pixma MG5250

There are some great reviews and it scored quite highly. I'm sure though like all things there will be some problem with it. It's only going to be used for the odd disk so ink consumption won't be to bad (hopefully)

I have an older Pixma, but have never been happier with a printer..
Prints come out better than many photo's i had printed by various companys online..

As long as I've kept to genuine ink cartridges:thumbs:

So i wont be clicking "buy now" on a popular internet site for some non genuine inks?

Is there that much difference in the quality when you are only printing disks and documents. not to worried about photos

Can only speak as I find - others will disagree.

When I've used non-genuine cartridges with Canon printers I've had problems. Not so much with the ink - just the cartridges. Real problems with contamination of the print head:thumbsdown:

Cartridge World service locally was great as was the quality for non-photo printing.

The quality with genuine inks and Canon paper is stunning IMO:thumbs:
