Well tonight i finally signed up to help a researching company..
after being offered:

Monday : 3 free pints
Tuesday : 3 free pints + £25

i mean, how can i refuse? :p
 
I belong to YouGov which pays me up to £1 to do an online survey. Once I get to £50, they send me a cheque:D The quicker you do them when they send it, the more frequent they get. I do about 3 a month but know others that get them more often

That sounds too good to be true! Have you ever recieved a cheque from them? Is it really that simple?
 
It's usually about what newspapers you read, they do ask how much your household income, savings and that are but you can select the option "prefer not to answer". Sometimes they do a Brand Index one which is how do you feel about certain brands. I'm nearly up to my £50 already so that helps :D Plus, and here's the seller, they don't pass your details on to third parties. I haven't yet had a cheque but my mate up the club has

I think the longest one I have done took me no more than 10 minutes and that was probably because I was eating dinner at the time.

Now we're trying an experiment. We want to see if you can predict things about a person from knowing just a few things about him.

So think about Peter (a real person but not his real name), an employee working at YouGov. He is 31 years old, married, with one child, and he lives in Fulham, London. His nationality is British and has a degree in engineering from the University of Colorado USA. He prefers indie films to Hollywood movies, and he loves winter sports, especially snow-boarding.

Now let's see if you can guess some other things about Peter. Of course you can't possibly know the correct answers – but try anyway to imagine what he might be like, and answer the following questions as best you can.
