I've doen something to LR 5

I've chanced upon a couple of keystrokes accidentally and have no idea what I've done:

1) I did something that left only the the grid view on the screen highlighted and everything else in dim and dark althoug everything seemed to work. Could only get out of it by closing LR.

2) Somehow I've got the photo data to appear in large white letters in the top left hand corner of the loupe view -- filename, exposure and lens used.

Anyone any idea what I've done to get the above to happen? Of course I'd look in the manual but have no idea where to start.
 
Not at my pc but I think control i fixes 2. 1 is the lights setting or some such like in one of the right hand menus.

Can't find the other one yet but I'll look it up now I have a name for it.
 
Sounds like you did a Shift-L, which cycles "Lights Out". You get either normal side panels, blacked out or dim.
 
Yep, right again, Shift L.

Oddly that 'lights out' everything, even the PCTV that is running on my other monitor.

I can see I'll have to dig out a 'shortcuts' menu from somewhere.
