Ok, I think I've reached my limit. Just bought one of these to convert into a 6x9 folder....

Yes, I know it's a piece of 70's plastic and auto-exposure but it looks like it will be a good fit for the 6x9 Graflex rollfilm back I've got and has a rangefinder built it. Its standard film was ISO 160 so should work nicely with some Portra. Oh, and for £5.50 It's got to be tried at least :0)

I think I just like the way it folds around itself like a poor mans SX70 :0)

You can't resist can you, Steve? If it 'aint broke don't fix it, if it is, let's see what else we can make out of it!! ;)

I really will never learn :0). From looking at the size of the original film online, I reckon the Graflex rollfilm back should fit with a little bit of 'persuasion'

Blue rectangle is the max size of the rollfilm back and the white rectangle is the 6x9 opening. If I keep the aperture central in the original opening I'll need to remove some of the body from the left side but I'm hoping that's just plastic with no actual mechanics but won't know until I get a look at it. I'll need to fit batteries for the metering system so i'm assuming it will still try to eject the film so I'll have to disable that too.

Don't you just hate it when you spend a fortune on a camera and the shutter doesn't fire properly...

Well that was a fun disassembly process.

Is it just me who ends up with a couple of screws left when you put things back together again?

I'm now left with with a folding shell so just need to figure out how to convert it :0)

Seems to be a bit of a light leak there, Steve!

Nah, bit of flocking and we'll be sorted :0)

The original bellows are made from a rubber material and were generally good condition but had a few small nicks here and here so I decided to remove them.

jeez Steve couldn't you send it to Miles?

I was going to Brian but when I spoke to him he didn't once mention an extended warranty or supplying a matching faux pleather bag so it's hard to take him seriously ;0)
