Hi all,

So I've backed up my itunes to a NAS drive and can now access the songs from other pcs on my network
My question is how can I add to the itunes backup on the NAS when i purchase new songs without doing another full backup ??

Thanks Steve

A backup is by the very definition of the word, a replica of what already exists.
If you're using backup software rather than a drag & drop approach, then enable incremental function to add only the new files rather than doing a full backup each time.
If it was done manually, then you need to add the new files manually......obviously.

The alternative to what you're seeking, is to point iTunes at the "backup" as the main Library folder to work from, therefore each time you add new songs, etc, they get put in there as opposed to the current/default folder location.
To do that, open iTunes' Preference, navigate to the Advanced tab, and in the box at the top, you'll see the path as it is currently.
Use the Change... button to locate the folder on the NAS, and then hit OK.

Job jobbed.
