Okay so in the last iTunes update Apple decided that I no longer needed Apps to syncing my Windows laptop and iPad!
Problem is I do need Apps ... I share files with my Goodreader App on a regular basis and now it seems I have no way of transferring files to my iPad.
Anyone know a workaround to getting files off my laptop to the Goodreader App on my iPad?
Or is it possible to rollback to the last iTumes version?

TIA :)

Use Google Drive or Dropbox or something to share files between the PC and the iPad? The iPad will need the appropriate app, and on the PC you can either use the desktop version, or upload via the web interface.

If you need to roll back iTunes, you can always uninstall and download an earlier version: https://support.apple.com/downloads/itunes

Thanks very much for the link, a rollback appeals to me most :)

I have the CoPilot Caravan app installed on my iPad mini 3, using the latest version of iTunes 12.7.0.166 & IOS 11.0.1 on my iPad. In iTunes when I select the iPad there is a File Sharing option under the device settings, clicking on this lists the apps on my iPad which support file sharing, this will allow me to transfer updated POI files from the PC to the iPad.

Apple Quietly Releases iTunes 12.6.3 With Built-In App Store

Thanks for that update.
I removed my iTunes and installed 12.5.3.17 which completely restored my Library without my interference and works fine, I'm tempted to just leave well alone unless anyone know a good reason why I should update to this?
The only thing I can think of is that the Macrumors story says that this “new” version won’t nag to update and won’t update automatically but that’s pretty minor if you have auto updates turned off and remember not to update iTunes.
