iTunes help please

I've started using iTunes a while back. The problem I have is that any changes made on iTunes aren't changing the files in WE. Example: Uploaded an audiobook for the boy. It's 2 CDs and I wanted to make one big album so renamed all the tracks and changed the track numbers. I then made the 2 CDs the same name, eh wohla... but only on iTunes not explorer.

The reason for wanting to do this is for KidiGos and for my own stuff for my phone.

I read somewhere about ID3 here but following the instructions I can't find the option.

I'm not sure I get what you're trying to achieve to be honest, but I don't thin iTunes has ever updated windows tags very well if at all.

Best thing to do is sort the windows tags before import into iTunes.

I made all the track adjustments in iTunes. Everything changed on WE EXCEPT the file name, so when I put it on my galaxy or my sons kidigo it's all out of order. I think you are right though, change it in WE and re-import into iTunes

iTunes does non destructive editing. So the library is well maintained. If you sync the files with the other devices with iTunes then all should be well. For my Android devices (and WebOS, Audi, VW etc) I use double twist which hooks into iTunes and can manage playlist and devices easily..
