I can't upload any photos....as my MacBook does not recognise when any of my cameras are connected, and the only card reader I have is crap and disconnects after 10 seconds transfering. :( Trip to Apple store.... :'(
 
have you applied the latest system updates

my macbook is falling apart after 4 years of ownership :)
 
nah, I will have an update, I'm on Leopard, maybe go to snow.

well......wasn't in last week...so I hope she is in tomorrow/Friday!!! :D

snow leopard is really good, thats what i'm running, upgraded from 10.4 tiger :)
 
+1 for snow leopard.

Have you narrowed it down to the card reader or is it the usb port? do other usb devices work when attached?
