Yes
With England kicking off the six nations against Wales later this evening I thought I'd get a thread started ahead of time as I'm sure many people will be watching this evening (and hopefully some of you who knock the football threads might get involved here).

I'm looking forward to this evening, should be a good game too - Wales must be aching to get a test win and I'm sure they'd like to do it against no other team than England and at no other venue than Cardiff.

Will be backing Wales tonight mainly due to the fact that I used to spend half my summer holidays down there with the old man. Love the place and love the people. Obviously when it comes to Wales against Scotland it's Scotland all the way.

Real rugby starts next weekend - Superleague.

Come on the Wire

I have tickets for two of England three home matches - I'm grinning :):):)

"real rugby" :lol::lol::lol:

Although I am hoping otherwise, my betting mind says Wales by 11-15

England have never really been outstanding under Johnson (other than when we spanked the Aussies at Twickers in Nov 10)

Great Caprtain in his day, but as coach / mgr?

See I love watching rugby union as much as I love to watch football. I find watching rugby league is like watching paint dry by comparison. It's just not as entertaining

You don't get as much televised sky in League, tracking the ball as it's kicked from one end of the field to the other. :D

Matter of taste and what you are used to. I was brought up on league and when payed well (as Wigan did last season) it is unbeatable as a spectator sport.

I currently live in the heart of Welsh rugbyland and enjoy watching union but I must say that many times over the last two years I feel that the game has lost its way. There is so much apparently pointless kicking.

That's mainly because Northerners are too poor to afford televisions!!

Eh? It's massively improved in recent times (almost back to the 70's & 80's in the case of some matches). You should have been watching during the era of Will Carling and Rob Andrew.

Pizza ordered, welsh shirt on....

Come on WALES, I don't give a dam about the other matches but England, pfft we have to do it :)

I'll be hoping England do well in 6 Nations though.

Being English but spending all my adult life in Wales and Scotland - I always get it in the neck

Nice Try, first blood to us!!

need:beer:

Good game this

Half time - just enough time for a pee break and a trip to the fridge for more beer

Good try (if lucky) from Wales, match is not dead, 19 minutes to go

i must be watching a differ3ent game, as it's more interesting watching the paint dry on the wall.......

The Taff's need to learn the advantage of a 3 man overlap and not hoof it to the far right - and then look surprised...

The English need to learn some discipline and forward passes are a no no.

C'mon Wales, time yet, and my honey gets my beer from the fridge for me. If only she could pee for me too.
