ah yes,
my m8 Matt put me onto this place, looks like it will be a breath of fresh air for the photography community, especially the digital side,
i own a New Nikon D70, i have 6 lenses for her and need a new SB800 flash to replace my old SB25 one, as not all the new functions are supported,
i actually collect camera's and have a total of ( around ) 115 , tho i just sold my Fuji S7000 on ebay to claw a few pennies back on the Nikon,
i also have a Nikon F601, F60 and F50 , a Fuji digital 4800 zoom, an olympus digtal something or other, a few underwater camera's and a heap of other stuff , lol
i must however learn how to use these ' toys ' one day , lol
good to be here, and hope to contribute to the content of this place in my own unique way ( Matt will tell u what i'm like no doubt )

thanks for the warm welcome , some peeps already know me as FujiMon, and others as Brake-buster from a popular Mondeo forum, even tho i now drive a Vauxhall Signum i , lol
FujiMon will also have to go by the wayside as the S7000 is on ebay with 9 hours to go as we speak, and is getting a respectable price to, thankfully, its the one on the red settee :wink:
i started taking photographs at the age of 6 when i was given a Kodak Folding Camera to use some 31 years ago, and it worked quite well even if it was an antique then , lol , most of my collection is of antuque camera's but as you see i also like current technology , and just upgraded to the Nikon D70, this was after much deliberation ( as Matty will tell u ) about the very good Canon 300D and its extremly competetive price, i however had to go with the Nikon because of the oodles of kit and lenses i already had for the brand, but it was nip n tuck there for a while,
i eventually bought the D70 from ebay with a Nikon 28-100G lens for £549 ( what a bargain that was ) from a UK seller ( well Wales anyway :? ) , he turned out to be a very good and honest seller that has a shop in Swansea.
I am still getting used to the multitude of functions on the D70 as i have mainly used compact digitals for the last 4 years or so,and using a tru SLR is slowly comming back to me, its amazing how used u get to holding the compacts at arms length to take a picture!!!
right, thats enough of that, lol, time to start posting some serious ( and not so serious :wink: ) content on this new site, lol
