The first week in October is Holga week ( A bit too Late) were you aware of ths and are you playing Holga ?

I'm not sure I want to acquire a Holga and do this sort of thing - my photos are mediocre enough without the Holga effect! We could maybe do a series of "weeks" for different brands or models, eg Pentax Spotmatics, Mamiya C3/330 etc. Bronica, not forgetting the Canon mob and Nikon mob of F&C'ers. Ensign, Rolleiflex, Olympus...it's quite a list. Sounds like a TP project.

We didn't bother a Soviet/Commie camera comp this year because of the war, although presumably my Kiev might have been acceptable in the circumstances. :thinking:
 
I didn't know it was a thing either till yesterday when I saw it on a Youtube vid, I have no 120 film at the moment so I've got no chance !

Well probably the only thing that that would work here would be something like:- select your best photo ever taken with ***** camera? But it would have to be a camera that quite a few/many would have used in the past, and would need all the older digi guys (who dropped film ) to contribute to add to plenty of entries.

Okay - it might be the boredom of sitting here injured after yet another "off the bike" moment, it may be the ensuing medication, or it may just be that I fancy doing something to mark the passage of over 5000 posts on TP (mostly within F&C!) but I've had an Idea... Inspired by the Travelling...

actually it's about 11 years since she last went away on holiday (or 9 years since she came home...) if anyones up for another go i'll throw the camera and the first roll of film in, but i've no developing gear around anymore, so that'd need to be someone elses contribution...


ETA: i've just had a read of that homeless holga thread, and i don't know what meds I was on at the time, but i could do with a 1/4lb bag of them right now...
