........ Tomorrow I second shoot my 1st wedding, I'm covering the groom and best men in the morning and then off to the church and venue.

All Lenses cleaned, cameras cleaned, battery's charged, memory cards clear. I've an iPhone full of poses and ideas.

Not exactly sure on what to wear though.

Wish me luck :)

Just so long as its not your birthday suit you should be good to go :thumbs: you'll be nervous right till when you start taking photos but then it all because normal, and I'm sure your smash it mate
 
good luck Matt!

don't forget to take a deep breath and go with the flow... sometimes you can't get that 'planned' pose, but sometimes you hit the jackpot without realising (and you can never check in camera on a sunny day!)

don't forget regular downloads, don't be afraid to shout (auntie beryl is always at the bar and somewhat deaf) and have a laugh with your clients :)

I normally wear something smart but discreet (black trousers, smart but comfy top) flat shoes (but I don't expect you to wear heels being a chap... ;) LOL! get some sunscreen, a bottle of water to carry with you, keep at least one set of extra batteries in your pocket, and don't be afraid about 'taking 10' when appropriate - you DON'T have to be constantly snapping!

let us know how you get on, and comfy shoes and shouting are the key :)

Thanks everyone :) I'm feeling a teeny weeny bit more relaxed now haha, I've spotted some good places in the church to shoot from with the 35mm and 50mm, and I'm still trawling the net reading and looking at poses.

Briefly met the lads and were all roughly the same age and grew up in the same area so hopefully that will be an advantage :)
 
Got spare everything? Shooting list? Collapsible step ladder? Spare car in case yours breaks down?

Spare car may be a problem haha, mines only 3 years old so should be ok haha, main tog is bringing a step ladder, shooting list is done :)
 
Awesome, its a fab feeling when it goes well. Will we be seeing any of the pictures? (I've not ventured near the crit section for a few days, so forgive me if they're already posted)

Just backing all 2000ish of them up now haha, then I will some culling but there is one I'm going to process right away so you may see that tonight :)
