Ah. I wondered where all the little englander hideaways from the 19th century were. Now I know. I'm delighted to see that the main concern is how it will affect your holidays. While your world crashes around you and recession beckons you dream your dream about some fantasy la-la land. If nothing else this thread is a great illustration of why fortress Britain is going to be a deeply unpleasant and deeply deeply stupid place to be.

Irrational Fear and intolerance won, leading to uncertainty and instability. Say goodbye to Great Britain and hello to little England.
Everyone will now use this period of uncertainty to make political capital. Scotland will try and probably succeed in independence, which will make the other parts think twice.
Infighting in both major parties financial uncertainty leading to a lack of investment and ultimately jobs. Whose going to invest in the uk now Sedona know where we're going.

There was a benign hope that this thread would remain lighthearted, but I suppose it was inevitable that it would become a whinefest for those who dislike the result.
I think there's a couple of other threads elsewhere already covering that quite nicely.
